If it's within the letter of the law, then yes, he should be allowed to. That doesn't mean that it's not a dirty move and that the opposition party shouldn't be pissed about it, but the people of Britain kind of did it to themselves by voting in favor of Brexit in the first place. It was never a realistic vision that Brexit would be clean for all sides involved and that heads, like Theresa May's, wouldn't roll or that parliament wouldn't be circumvented in some way.

Yes, negotiation should take place if there's an opportunity for legitimate peace. Do I believe any agreement made would be upheld by either side? Not a chance in hell. But even a few months of peace until it's inevitably broken is better than the nothing we have now.
