**Rioting in the SACs**
After presidential candidate Severus Billings promised to strengthen direct federal control over the Special Administrative Cities of Pantalan Humot and Lubeck Tulo and remove their SAC status deeming both to have integrated enough with the Singhapala Bisaya mainland economically and politically, violent riots broke out, killing eight in both cities and injuring at least 65 more. Nearly 1,600 have been arrested on various charges. The Treaty of Sainogati states that Pantalan Humot and Lubeck Tulo must fully join the states of Usalitec and Ontenarag before 27 July 2058 after being deemed fully integrated with the mainland.
Incumbent president Temuldav has ordered 9,000 federal troops and 2,500 border patrol agents to the SACs in an effort to quell the growing violence and has extended the period of martial law by another four weeks to 28 August and has ordered the suspension of legislative bodies of the SACs extended to 1 September.

Noting that the factory farming of animals is a method often used in agricultural settings to increase efficiency and lower the cost of production,
Resolved that factory farming:
is almost universally considered cruel and inhumane, as it holds no regard for the welfare of animals, and also profits off of their abuse,
has significant, demonstrably negative environmental effects on wildlife and flora,
has been shown to increase the risk of infection and other health dangers to consumers,
fosters anti-competitive practices and the cartelization of the farming industry, and
often results in particularly egregious exploitation of laborers and the destruction of small-scale farming livelihoods,
Believing that any monetary cost savings that may be associated with factory farming do not outweigh the costs incurred by wildlife and flora, consumer health, the economy, and the inherent rights of farm animals as sentient beings,
Hereby:
Defines for the purposes of this resolution:
"farm animal" as a sentient animal raised in an agricultural environment to produce commodities where said commodity is produced directly by or from said animals, and
"factory farming" as an industrialized system of producing commodities from farm animals characterized by one or more of the following aspects:
keeping farm animals in unhygienic or crowded spaces where they are unable to exercise their full range of motion, including but not limited to all use of battery cages, except when strictly necessary for the health and/or welfare of said farm animals, or
the routine use of antibiotics or growth hormones on farm animals in attempts to alter their physical characteristics and/or mitigate the consequences of keeping farm animals in unhygienic conditions; where such use is not intended to cure an illness,
Bans all forms of factory farming, and
Gives member-states a period of no more than two years to become fully compliant with this resolution.

This resolution bans factory farming, which is defined as "an industrialized system of producing commodities from farm animals" characterized by restrictions on the range of motion by animals and the use of antibiotics and growth hormones on animals. Member states are given two years following the passage of the resolution to comply with the ban. While many aspects of factory farming are objectionable, advancements into food production have also been quite important in fulfilling demand for food products (in this case, meat). There are therefore potential economic consequences for low-earning families who cannot afford more ethically-sourced meat. In addition, it is unclear whether two years is enough to completely revolutionize the farming industry, especially considering that many nations are very large and have complex food chains. For these reasons, the URA does not support this resolution.

Why I'm Running for Re-Election as COO
The reason I'm running for COO again vs any other board position in LE is because COO is this position fits my interests and willingness to help LE. This position involves getting people as shareholders into LE so they can join our map and RP with us. What makes me better then my opponents is I'm almost always active and when someone new wants to become a shareholder, I can almost get back to them right away. I can also make good decisions when the time comes to appoint senior management. I believe my terms as COO went very well and I believe other's will agree. I got back to TG's about becoming a shareholder within a 8 hour mark along with always staying active consistently.
Why I'm Qualified
I believe I'm qualified because in years past, I have had experience dealing with other people and helping them out. I not only know how to do this job but will enjoy doing this job. I also want to emphasize activity. I'm almost always active and I think that brings a lot to LE having a consistently active member. I also want to help out LE from a larger perspective. This position will help with this. I'm not running for power but to help out LE as a whole. Getting more shareholders in to LE means more people to interact with and more people to RP with. The larger the region is with active members, the more fun everyone will have. I also have 10 consecutive terms under my belt which I believe has taught me so much as COO and has only made me better, not to mention I am the longest serving COO in LE history.
What I will Continue to do as COO
As COO, I will prioritize getting more shareholders in LE as they arrive into LE and pre-existing members that either haven't applied or don't know they have to. The benefit of being a shareholder is you get to participate in our RP and get to vote in our elections.

Election day is starts on May 1st and runs until 1 week later. Even if you don't vote for me, vote for someone who you want to see in COO or any position throughout the board. With a few short days remaining until elections season, I want to remind y’all to vote! And if you’d like, vote me for COO! I believe I could be a wise choice for the region. I have plans to help encourage even more members of LE to become shareholders, a couple bylaw ideas I’d like to try to put through, and a quick overview of all LE dispatches to make sure they’re up to date and are accurate. I also have a idea to help refine reporting errors in LE dispatches, so that way, it could make the process simpler for those correcting said errors on the dispatches.

1 - Make clear who you’re voting for in the TG! It’ll help TESDAI, who is counting out the votes this time if he doesn’t have to try and figure it out.
2 - Make sure you don’t pull a Spokane/Slovak, and do not hit ‘Send to All’ on accident when you’re submitting your ballot because if you do, then everyone will be able to see your ballot, instead of just TESDAI.
3- Be civil! There’s no need to kick up tension in LE just because your preferred candidate didn’t win.

I believe that I would be a good fit for CCO because of my willingness to hear other sides and then come to compromises. From both my opinion and experience, being inflexible is never good. For the position I am running for, I think that being polite and understanding is key, and I possess this skillset to help me achieve these aims. Being the current incumbent, it means that I am experienced in the role, and the most up-to-date in policy.
What will you continue to add as Chief Communications Officer, and a Member of the Board?
If I am reelected as Chief Communications Officer, I shall continue what I had done during my previous incumbency. This includes ensuring a quality control of embassies is enforced, and also building stronger relationships with the regions that we already have embassies in. However, should you choose not to vote for me, I would recommend you instead vote for The federation of spokane. He has previously held this role and it would certainly be good to have some older opinions back on the Land's End Board!
Remember to vote for Hooseria Magna for CLO- I think he's the best choice! He is also the previous CCO, and says I would be a good candidate, so you should trust his word.
Empress Ricardina of Biggonia rushed out of the train station. She had gone in, disguised and with no guards, intending to arouse as little suspicion as possible. She had taken the underground, all the way to the suburbs, where Kessler street was. It was dark and the rain was pattering all around her feet as she slowly started to wonder across the tarmac roads. Ricardina followed the road signs towards the location.
When she at last arrived to the street, the rain was starting to pour on incredibly heavily, so much so that she could barely hear herself think. Continuing to move along the dilapidated road, she realised that No.21 was in an alleyway. Mikhail had always been very cunning. This was a discreet location far away from the prying eyes of anybody who would want to stop them. Upon reaching the entrance of the alley, she could hardly see, but unmistakably, there was a dark shadow, leaning against the wall.
"Mikhail?" she called out?
No response.
"Mikhail... is that you?"
Still no response.
So Ricardina edged every closer. The closer she got, the more petrified she grew. While not scared of the dark, the recent attempt on her life made her realise that it was dangerous being an Empress. About halfway along the alley, a light flickered on for a few seconds. While Ricardina was dazzled by the light, she did see the unmistakable form of Mikhail Zabusov, pinned against the wall, with a knife through his throat.
