Hello friends

Today's Hungarian GP should be pretty exciting. Russel is on pole after a sensational qualifying lap, his first P1 ever, and Mercedes first of the season. Title contenders LeClerc and Verstappen are 3rd and 10th respectively, and will be looking to make up ground. It's not easy to overtake on this track, so that will prove difficult. Expect incidents!

Well I wasn't expecting this...

1 Verstappen
2 Hamilton
3 Russell
4 Sainz
5 Perez
6 Leclerc
7 Norris
8 Alonso
9 Ocon
10 Vettel

The Ferrari implosion continues. More poor strategy calls there, and a bad place to be in heading to the summer break.

Superb drive from Verstappen to pick up 9 places. Hamilton, too moved from 7th to 2nd. Russel was disappointed, but 3rd is not at all a bd result. Mercedes are making good progress and the double podium will see them heading into the break on a high.

The Ferrari team cocked it up on Saturday by not having a spare set of new medium tyres left to be used in the race.

What a gong show. They’re handing the championship to Max. They may also lose out to Mercedes in the Constructors points.

Hamilton is ever so close to a win. I can almost taste that P1. Bad luck for George and Charles as well for differing reasons.

Still, happy about second and third for the Silver Arrows. Keep on pushing lads!

I'm surprised nobody though of scrubbing a set of hards in practice to give them a quicker warm-up in the race.

My best guess is that teams thought for sure there would be rain and they’d need the intermediates.

Again, if Ferrari knew a set of scrubbed hard would be their only option and didn’t think that far ahead, they need to replace the strategy department.

I can't argue with that.

Hello comrades

My proud nation is the most Authoritarian and Extreme in all of Canada.

Well that was a brief visit. Le shrug.

The NWT flag is to mark Civic Day, which is coming up on Monday.
