Project Firmament Breaker:
While the Milenciano Military is working to step up their military game through upgrading various old gear and bumping up recruitment numbers, the Airforce branch was working on a brand new fighter plane, currently dubbed the 'Avvoltoio-2'. This plane wouldn't just be much more agile, fast, armed and survivable, now being able to keep up and maybe even surpass foreign competition, but it also brought two experimental features. One feature would allow the plane to be remote or AI controlled with just a few simple changes that can be done in any airbase with relative ease and speed. The other feature would come in the form of a specialised droptank, allowing the plane to leave the atmosphere and enter the low orbit of Kalrania for a short amount of time. While this feature was still experimental, it seemed promising to the airforce and was deemed to be of great use, should the Milenciano military be subjected to fight a foreign military of equal or even greater strength.

The preperation against the incoming asteroid have been going rather well. Despite the grim look into the future, bunkers were constructed and the aerial protection system that was meant to shoot down any smallers rocks from the approaching meteoroid was coming along smoothly as well. Though the biggest and most ambitious project to keep Milenciano safe from certain destruction was still the Project dubbed 'Deus Ex', spearheaded by the Grimm foundation. This construction was treated with such secrecy, that not even some of the top government officials knew all the details yet, but should the space rock really be out to destroy this planet, then this project could really be the saviour of the Milenciano people. While still highly experimental, the Foundation tested out the capabilities on sending things and liveforms through an artifically constructed rift, where they'd end up in an entirely different reality. Replicating this rift on a large enough scale to evacuate the population of an entire country would be difficult to do, and keep secret for much longer, but the engineers and scientists were determined to make it work no matter what.
RP The Space Age
Following the information coming out of Milenciano, revealing their first transatmospheric fighter plane prototype, Baltocarpathia would reveal their intentions to create a working prototype, using a modified Black Pheonix Fighter Plane, to create the first spaceworthy high-performance military aircraft. Two compressed Liquid Oxygen tanks will be built into the internal bay, reducing the internal weapon capacity by a noticeable margin, but allowing the aircraft's rotating detonation engines to continue working in outer space. Additionally, highspeed heat resistant materials rated for space shuttles in the Imperial Space Agency would be applied to the frame of the aircraft. One month following the reveal by Milenciano, the Black Pheonix X1 Transatmospheric Fighter Prototype would launch, achieve atmospheric escape into low Kalranian orbit, following a sub-orbital path, and landing back at a Prussian military base some time later. Though it would require much more experimentation to create a plane with the stealth capabilities of the orignal design, this is a large step to the beginning of the Space Age.

Initially, Ryuviric presence on the country would be contained within the Dze's slice, providing security, additional labour, and logistical assistance. It became inevitable that Government contractors from both private companies and those under the sanction of- and operating under the behalf of the Empyrean Commissions and Mandate would seek a more tangible presence on Vesvarian land, sensing not merely lucrative opportunity but a necessity to utilise the realm's vast mineral wealth in the homeland's projects. To this end, representatives from the Ambassador and Trade Commissions would request on behalf of the Empyrean Mandate and its Contractors for licenses on harvesting Vesvarian resources with an agreement to contribute its profits.

Zombie WMD
Zombie Virus - Possibly invented from rabies strains or sharing some superficial similarities, the virus creates a myriad of evolving zombies and types capable of spreading through blood, saliva, but also Influenza like symptoms.
Cordyceps Virus - A highly modified fungus with increased thermal resistance to create aggressive, highly-infective zombie entities from fungi; their durability and infectivity significantly differ from the regular virus strain.
Supercell Virus - Engineered from scratch, a sentient neogenic parasitic organism/meta virus capable of understanding genes and is intelligent to an extent with DNA computing, it will assimilate, adapt, grow, and evolve. Under a microscope, the cells look like living muscles or neurons and are as durable as even tardigrades, typically transferred via tiny spores. Many consider it the final virus as it is likely to disassemble and re-use any infective substances it comes across and grow in intelligence.
The Supercell virus is likely to be able to infect alien biologies rather effectively and will be loaded up into missiles for a possible spread. The status of whether any cures exist is unknown; however, the ASI did release some specialized Anti-Fungal drugs and creams with utmost extreme potency so it likely has considered such things. All of the zombie strains can be loaded up into bombs, mortars, and other devices.
Chemical Agents
In 2022 AI was able to suggest 40,000 new chemical weapons in just six hours, the Superintelligence could run untold millions of copies of that same AI in parallel with orders of magnitude more speed. So it was given a full day to create new chemical weapons effective against humans but also potentially alien species by targeting universal capabilities of intelligence like neurons, nerves, and muscles.
The devices were given very uninspired computer designations.
DA-1 (Death Agent) - The utmost potent weapon designed by the AI. A colourless, odourless substance which remains in the environment and kills as a nerve agent capable of being aerosol or liquid.
DA-9 (Death Agent) - A modified DA-1 that sacrifices all stealth for maximized lethality, appearing as a black vaporous agent which can kill quickly and last in the environment; it creates a thin, inky-looking coating/film on surfaces.
HA-4 (Hallucinogenic Agent) - A simple synthetic hallucinogenic which may have extremely lasting effects if exposure is significant, the white-colored fog can be spread by skin contact or inhalation.
FA-3 (Fear Agent) - A modified hallucinogenic agent specifically to cause immense terror, sometimes forcing those afflicted to suicide.
RA-2 (Revelation Agent) A modified hallucinogenic agent which rewires the brain of the recipient to experience every situation as meaningful and filled with spiritual power.
GA-2 (Gore Agent) - A hemotoxin that creates colossal internal bleeding and bleeding from every orifice it has a coppery odor but is virtually invisible.
WW-2 (Wormwood) - A water poisoning agent which causes death from drinking or contact it is ludicrously long lasting and can enter the water cycle.
SA-2 (Sleep Agent) - Just as stealthy as the DA-1, but causes those exposed to fall into a deep sleep for up to two days.
CA-1 (Crowd Agent) - Crowd control agent which causes intense agony and sensory overload, but no lingering effects; otherwise, it is harmless.
Drugs
As a side process, several drugs were created of varying usefulness, primarily as a case study some found their way into use.
HS-4M (Hallucinogenic Substance) - A drug not unlike LSD, but much smaller and more potent. Designed for interrogation.
Berserk - Refined combat stim, removing limiters placed by the body and massively suppressing pain.
SSh (Shell Shock) - Combat stim which is similar to Berserk, but more adrenaline and extreme focus than going psycho it has secondary effects of suppressing chances of PTSD and has been known to suppress moral reasoning.
SA-T (Sleep Agent Tranq) - Extremely powerful tranquilizer acting seemingly instantly available in various stealthy packages.
DNR-1 (Downer) - A simple and potent depressant. Its synthetic nature makes it highly addictive.
UPR-2 (Upper) - A simple and potent stimulant. Extremely addictive.
LP-9 (Love Potion) - Synthetic aphrodisiac.
FD (Fever Dream) - Surprisingly a medicinal antibiotic which puts the user into an intense fever often having agonizing hallucinations and dreams.
SC (Suicide) - Drug which kills you rapidly even in tiny doses and cannot be detected in autopsy. Allegedly those that survive receive some sort of psychoactive effect or extreme pain and finish the job themselves.
NT-2 (Nootropic) - ASI modified brain/cognitive enhancer. It is likely abused extensively in the Technate.
The computer also made some modified strains of existing drugs and controlled substances to augment their effects, like space-age heroin and more.
Pentomic Tests
The Technate created an enclosed nuclear wasteland in the south by testing a dozen high-yield 3rd generation thermonuclear weapons, including a small cobalt bomb to test Pentomic gear in a real nuclear wasteland environment, including having soldiers in close proximity to the detonations, the images taken from the tests rapidly became iconic and filled propaganda posters of NBC clad soldiers with high-tech weaponry walking towards a towering mushroom cloud. Likely, the soldiers were also exposed to some of the deadly chemical agents described above.

After a long and bloody civil war, that has seen to the death of half a generation of young men and women, the revolution has won!
During the mornings address to the nation, El Libertador Rafael José Huerta said the words "On this momentous day we gather to celebrate our victory against our oppressors! We have cast off their yoke and ready ourselves for a future built on liberty, equality and freedom! No longer will a monarch half way across the world decide what's best for us, our destiny lies in our hands and our hands alone! In the same hall where los conquistadores dissolved our beloved republic 16 years ago, we will proclaim a second republic, a greater republic, a new republic for a new Columbia! VIVA VIDA, VIVA LIBERTAD, VIVA LA REPÚBLICA!" And with this proclamation Nueva Columbia is formed, consisting of the four provinces recently liberated from imperial control in Ameriga. While Columbian forces have yet to secure all of Ameriga, El Libertador has assured the nation that "the lands still under the imperial yoke will be freed and allowed to join our great republic!".

RP: Etrian Regency, 40 years of peace
As: Etrius
An extensive rule under the Attar Dynasty has momentarily been halted, and a regency has been implemented. The cause of this shift was not made public; the nation of Etrius, for over three decades, has been remarkably silent and withdrawn. To an extent, this had caused many connections to slowly fade into obscurity, including the Etrian-issued Kalro's value which will assuredly rebound. During this period of dormancy, the state had mastered itself with a brilliantly executed planned economy and a long-standing age of peace. The regent emperor is Cyrus Accardi, a royal family tree with reasonable enough ties to the Attar Dynasty. He would fulfill the role of Kyver, an absolute monarch and military dictator, which somewhat explains the period of silence.
During this time of reclusive episode, the state has developed highly-efficient systems through their own scientific arms to thrive without globalization and executed masterful planning, but before this period Etrius had wealth unlike any nation in Kalrania at the time, and while a conversion into a 'globalist state' was out of the question the nation of Etrius is opening its channels again for diplomacy, renewed (but limited trade), Banking for those interested in the Kalro and so much more. The affairs such as technological development during this period of silence is not expounded upon, nor is the military's status; however, those with satellite knowledge would be aware it has been active. The response to the asteroid situation is pending while intelligence agencies sift through data.
The border crossing with Solingarch was again opened for those with Passports and transportation of goods. Financial policies/trade they had in the past had suddenly activated, that and internet connection to the Etrian Intranet, which had over a hundred million people on it, was established by the firewall dropping. No particular explanation was given on this topic beyond an email from Cyrus on the status of the Regency. For the nations of Kalrania, it is a rare opportunity to get a piece of the unfathomable wealth of Etrius.

RP: Reserve Expansion
Though the standing military saw substantial reductions in the past few years and a major restructuring to a smaller force more focused on localized warfare, it seems that Kalrania is unusually tense. The strange asteroid barreling towards the planet has seemingly convinced many that they need to start pushing for major military growth, and Atraland doesn’t wish to be left behind. Though there is no desire to expand the standing military, a newly proposed draft bill has entered voting that would effectively open for conscription all males aged 18 to 45, alongside broad acquisitions of new weapons systems to arm potential conscripts. The reserves of Atraland have also been slated for an expansion of roughly 800,000 this year, in the hopes of providing a better trained replacement pool in the event of a war, before turning to mass conscription.
RP: New Systems
With the economic time bomb of the immediate debasement, the government has sourced a temporary pool of functionally unlimited wealth, at least until the value of the Mark drops to zero. In the meantime, the Atran military has apparently fully embraced the possibility of the apocalypse coming soon, and has finally managed to negotiate the purchase of new weapons and equipment for the entire military force, fulfilling a decades long dream of a next gen personal armor system and new weapons for every soldier.
RP: The Arsenal
Though politicians and leading officers remain skeptical of WMDs, the winds of change can no longer be ignored, nations across Kalrania are without a doubt gearing up for a truly hellish shift in what war looks like. While opposed to the proliferation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, in many cases due to unfortunate firsthand experience in Atralands history, the nation cannot be left behind as the geopolitics of the world shift. For the first time in centuries, multiple chemical manufacturers have started the mass production of chemical weapons, ranging from the true classics of chlorine and mustard gas, to nerve agents and other nastier substances. Looking to the Fourth Atralandian Civil War for inspiration on doctrine, where chemical weapons were used en masse to horrifying effect in the eventual victory of the Imperium against communist forces, the military is preparing to trickle chemical weapons down to a platoon level. Surely equipping such small groups of soldiers with nerve agents and giving them carte blanche to use them as they see fit will never cause issue, right?
RP: The Arsenal, but glowing
While the newly decided mass production of chemical weapons is terrifying in its own right, the Atran government has also steadily increased its output of nuclear weapons, with the goal of much like chemical weapons, embedding nuclear artillery in each combat unit. Alongside this, the military has continued to produce larger strategic nuclear weapons to serve as a deterrent, though exact numbers and yields are heavily classified, at this point it’s believed that Atraland has a large enough stockpile to comfortably arm multiple submarines, silos and aircraft with nuclear weapons ranging up to 25mt in size, based on current military movements and actions. While Atralands nuclear development is being generally censored from public eyes, anyone watching by satellite or other espionage channels can clearly see the Atran armed forces amassing a nuclear stockpile.
RP: The Economy
While the economy continues to chug along, and to the public seems to be undergoing major growth as the GDP goes up and unemployment goes down, behind the scenes, the Atran government has compiled a report. A heavily secretive analysis of the economy has essentially confirmed the worst fears: even if the asteroid doesn’t hit, the apocalypse is coming to Atraland. In spite of the current globalist trade network spurred by the Congress of Margash that has propped up and perpetuates the economy, a realistic assessment of world tension and geopolitics has predicted a likely breakdown of the globalist order in the next five years, which will without a doubt take down the Atran economy. The only saving grace for the otherwise doomed economy is the personal union with Solingarch; so long as the Ler remains a stable backing currency and the Solingarchis continue to expand their influence, it’s possible Atraland could at least dampen the worst of the incoming financial crisis by switching to the Ler as its primary currency and becoming dependent on the Solingarchi economy and sphere to stave off total economic collapse and a mass famine. Atraland has little choice now but to blindly follow the Solingarchis through anything.
RP:Barely Human
With the economic prosperity for the average worker brought on by the Congress of Margash, cybernetics, a national pastime of Atraland, have only further exploded in common use. The cybernetic sector has virtually doubled in size in the past year, with hundreds of new businesses offering all manner of mechanical augmentation. A formerly extremely underground subgroup, the cyberfolk, has started to become increasingly mainstream, or at least socially acceptable to some degree. The cyberfolk are the natural endpoint of a person obsessed with cybernetics in a nation where cybernetics are dirt cheap and everywhere, they augment their body to such a degree that often times their true organic body is little more then glue holding the mechanical parts together, a flesh cover, and parts of a brain that legally cannot be digitized in accordance with religious laws against attempts at digital immortality. As this subculture continues to grow, alongside the less extreme but still aggressively augmentation heavy groups, it has started to worry the Atran government that perhaps they are losing humanity.

The Sunflower program is proud to announce the onboarding of Milenciano. The nation will recieve cheap green energy on demand from above. The program currently also includes the Technate & Baltocarpathia as customers and with new customers higher demands can be met from project scalability. Meanwhile....
Inside the Yobmok chamber the energy output had reached a consistent 203GW more than what the island nation needs (by far) and it didn't seem fatigued by this and likely could do more, but it would perhaps melt the reactor totally as the chamber it was kept in was already like the inside of a star thus a good quantity of equipment was damaged already. Some considered it blasphemous to be keeping this sentient cometary fragment inside the device as a battery. Really nobody knew what it was despite it being a part of their civilization for ages it had the possibility perhaps for some sort of unconscious suggestion on the population. Despite what various groups might think the integral object is of nigh incalculable value and easily eclipses the value of their nation by orders of magnitude.
A couple of those that had received pendants were capable of being Espers not unlike the Technate Stargate program with a few abilities it was unknown if they could use it without the glowing crystal heart shards. Any possessor of the object has a nice light Source, longevity and could use it for healing. The beautiful pendants made great conduits for whatever pseudoscientific energy the thing emitted. It was viewed with distrust by many as it had been their undoing before surely they weren't any better off than before.
Rainstorm
The islands had been hit with a particularly intense rainstorm likely some run off from Otyken test firing HAARP they wouldn't know that, but some had believed it was some sort of bad omen for dragging the Cometary Heart up from its watery tomb and that the past should be left sunken. More expeditions are already planned to uncover lost history amongst the sunken ruins of the Naacal. Potentially further insights into ancient astronauts.

RP: Personal Anima Protection
With the worries of other nations developing dangerous new magic spells Gisѐlle Celeste has commissioned the Gullblatt Academy to create ways to combat magic against ones own person. A main focus is on a personal limited use magic ward charm. These will be viable to safeguard against personal action type magic and light attack type spells. These anti magical ward charms will be crafted with runes craved on a small silver lead oval with its edge wrapped in a salt encrusted reed cord string. The metal mixture is 88% lead, 7% Silver, 4% Antimony, and small amounts traces of Arsenic, Bismuth, Phosphorus, and Indium. These ward charms can be activated by a quick impact force or by rubbing the engraved runes downwards. Crafting these ward charms one must first have an metallurgist craft the tokens before a enchanter works on runecrafting the arcanic symbols into the metal. It is recommended to carry several of these on hand but currently these are a rare item not yet being massed produced with only a handful of sample prototypes floating around.
RP The X-04 Power Armor Suit Prototype
Following in the footsteps of ally Otyken, the Development of a new power armor model would be announced, and its engineering accelerated to a top priority investment. The armor is similar to the X-03 model in some ways, retaining its endurance in combat, but with some notable upgrades. For starters, the life support systems are upgraded, using advanced active filtering to search out radioactive fallout as well as biological contaminants previously too small or complex for the basic filters. This upgraded life support system also includes improved climate control, waste recycling/ejection systems, and electrolyte/vitamin water fabrication system. The armor plating has been upgraded to include a layer of saturnite/amorphous graphene composite for greatly increased protection against energy weapons, with only a moderate increase to overall weight. The power system has been upgraded to compensate, with room for more systems including many that are classified. The new power system utilizes an experimental arcane form of energy harvesting, drawing magical force from the Weave and transmuting it through runes into usable energy. This combined with the Arcane Power Cells and onboard nuclear generator allows for a steady supply of energy that gradually regenerates. While the X-04 does not have the jet pack of the X-03, it does have a more complex ward generation device, active visual and thermal cloaking technology, and microbot-assisted emergency armor hardening protocols that limits mobility but greatly increases protection against ballistic threats. Designed for a new group known as Shock Troopers, these soldiers will not only play a crucial role in front line combat across the world, but will be able to keep the fight going, should the worst be realized...
RP Beyond The Veil
With research into deep space travel now a possibility, and with the alien threat currently looming over our glorious empire, the Imperial Space Agency would commision research jointly with the esoteric branch of the Valkist regime, seeking a supernatural option for the 7th and even 8th generation of propulsion tehcnology. While OWD, (Oblique Wave Detonation) Engines have paved the way for stable transatmospheric and high end hypersonic flight, their utility is still in its early days, with no current vehicles employing such aside from the Silver Dragon Space Shuttles. However, this has not stopped the teams of researchers from looking into experiments both old and new and seeing what might work. One lucky find was in the experimental use of teleforce jet propulsion, which never saw the light of day after early hopes of a wireless electric grid were shattered by the collapse of the monarchy and the civil war. much of the nation's infrastructure was in ruins, and a nation wide mega project like that simply was no longer viable if it ever was to begin with.
