The sound of their cheers still seemed fresh in her mind. It was over 24 hours since the concert, and Alice was sitting in a cafe with a mug of Mzeusian tea and a cinnamon bun in front of her. The cafe still had that poster up for the concert, with the words 'Pliability' across the top, made to look
as through the letters were breaking into pieces under the force of some invisible blow. It had been her first concert the band had sold out and although the crowd was mostly there for the band that was to play after, the audience still heard the music, they still cheered at the end, and the show-runners had still complimented their playing afterwards. As the band's last song has come to an end, the cheering began again, louder than before with more whistles piercing the noise.

She looked around the cafe. Everyone seemed calm enough. Maybe, in the heat of the moment, she had imagined a greater response than there had been. On the other hand, the hours after they had played had seen many people come up to them and congratulate their music, so perhaps things really had gone well. After all, at the end of the last song, Alice had retreated to the wings with a composure threaded together by a few quaking nerves, whose grip seemed to only weaken with each step she took across the stage. The crowd's noise, like a thunderstorm, had struck her and the celebration as her bandmates got backstage certainly had not waited to come forth nor was it slight when it did.

Maybe, despite all the challenges, despite the wrong notes here and there and the arguments about lyrics, things weren't looking to bad. Alice looked back to the poster. It was still up. She smiled and took a bite of her cinnamon bun.

After the recent Constitutional Reform, Delta Vega IV is going to elections for Chancellor.

Three candidates have registered to run for office:

1. IBM 37J4, Conservative Party
2. JRRT 7R, Human-led Democratic Coalition
3. RTX 310F, AI-Human Liberal Party

Elections shall take place during the following few days. Polling booths shall be closed Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, 22:00 Bundestäg Time.

Counting the votes may take some time to ensure reliability of the results.

The 🐈 Kingdom of New Rogernomics

President Nicholas was many things. A politician. A patriot. Most importantly, he was a believer in the Church of the Messiah. The Church was a minor cult that worshipped Daniel as the Messiah. A holy figure to bless Glorious Society and purify it of all that do not belong. Nicholas himself wasn’t as zealous as some as the higher ups and the newly converted.

However, the ascension of the Messiah left Nicholas an opportunity. Nicholas saw the way to propel himself to Dictatorship and grabbed it with both hands. With the office of President came executive power. And after Daniel gutted the National Assembly, the President held most of the legislative power as well. The removal of the Angelist Faith was as easy as gutting the control the military held. Needless to say extremely difficult. For all the bending the Church did for Daniel, they had consistently resisted on making the Messiah Sect the official doctrine and stance of the Church.

The resistance of the higher ups left Nicholas but one option. Executive Decree 198P. The removal of all religious officials and the arrests and summary executions of the traitors. The only survivors were the believers and the converted. Nicholas felt a small tinge of regret for such a drastic action. Weakening the Church wasn't overly popular but it was crucial to securing his control and spreading the Faith. It had to be.
